Caught the Salon du Velo de Montreal on Friday. Lots of bikes to look at if you are interested in spending thousands of dollars though the MEC booth had a couple of interesting all purpose ones that caught my eye. I especially liked the feature of an extra pair of mini-brake handles at the centre of the ram's horn handle bars to use when sitting more upright.
There were many representatives from the various regions of Quebec with their latest cycle touring brochures, and even a couple of booths from Ontario. Needless to say, cycling infrastructure around the province is light years ahead of our neighbour to the west.
I left with a bag full of maps and guides to give hours of dreamy speculation for rides in the upcoming season.
